FB Collection was founded in Rio de Janeiro with the Lopes Mendes Frescobol beach bats. Frescobol - Brazilian sport played non-stop along the beaches since the 1940’s -  have led them to a new and exciting concept for beachwear. A full range of innovative designs and items were being conceived to bring you a combination of ultimate luxury with Brazilian beach style.

I particularly loved the pattern inspired by Burle Marx’s Copacabana sidewal!

Maria Bonita Extra brought a mix between bright pallete of whites and some strong colours such as yellow, red, purple and pink. Inspiration come from  the theme “High Line”, an old train line at New Your that was recently transformed in a pleasant park.

Asymmetric shapes, scarf silky dresses with really thin strap sleeves, mini shorts, jumpsuits and skirts. All garments were thought to bring fun and freshness for us to enjoy Rio strong summer without loosing elegance.

Transsexual model and Givenchy muse, Lea T. shot her first swimwear campaign for Blue Man on the beach in Rio. The brown-haired beauty struck a pose alongside Marlon Teixeira for Terry Richardson’s lens.

After that, on Wednesday, Lea hit Brazil’s Fashion Rio runway strutting in several swimsuits for the same brand.

White Washed Season 

It seems almost everyone in Hollywood is into white lately. Movie stars and supermodels have been spotted wearing this non-color more than a few times during past weeks. Some of them are above. This little-white-summer-dress trend is perfect for Rio`s weather. Time for me to buy one!
